The pilot delivers impressive fuel economy through honda's variable cylinder management (vcm) technology, an engine cylinder-deactivation system that is capable of operating in either 6-cylinder mode for power or 4- and 3-cylinder modes for efficiency. Standard equipment on the lx includes a lift-up glass hatch, 17-inch wheels, cd player, tri-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, three rows of seating, bluetooth wireless phone/audio streaming and 2gb of internal media storage; ex trims add 18-inch aluminum wheels, fog lights, power driver seat, homelink, compass, and body colored mirrors, door handles and side moldings, while ex-l trims are further outfitted with a power liftgate, power moonroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and satellite radio. The base pilot lx includes a rearview camera with guidelines and an 8-inch screen, bluetooth handsfreelink and streaming audio, a 229-watt audio system with 7 speakers, and tri-zone automatic climate control system. Moving up, the ex model adds fog lights as well as a 10-way-power driver's seat. Higher still, the ex-l includes a leather-trimmed interior, heated front seats, a power tailgate, and a moonroof.
